Apple Kheer

Cardamom flavour and sweet taste of apple makes it irresistible.

Main Ingredient(s): Apple


  • 1 kg Apple
  • Saffron Strands (Few)
  • 1 Teaspoon Green Cardamom Powder
  • 200 Gram Granular Sugar
  • 2 Litre(ltr) Milk
  • Almond Flakes (Crushed to garnish)
  • Apple (Sliced to garnish)
  • Pistachio Nuts (Crushed to garnish)

Original recipe makes 4 Servings


Method of Preparation

Step 1

Take lukewarm milk in a bowl and dissolve saffron strands in it and keep aside.

Step 2

Heat up the wok over flame, meanwhile remove the core of the apple and add in the oil. Besides, add sugar and stir over medium flame till sugar dissolves properly. Take it down and let it cool.

Step 3

In the same wok heat up milk over reduced flame, when milk starts boiling, add saffron strands and cardamom and stir it and later remove and keep aside.

Step 4

 To the same add fried apple and take down in a serving plate and refrigerate it.

Step 5

Serve chilled, garnished with nuts and apple slices
